Tasting Notes: Estate-grown, spending 12 months in new and used French (Allier) barriques. The bouquet sets the antennae waving with its promise (duly delivered) of plush blackberry fruit, quality oak entirely integrated on the medium-bodied palate, the tannins ripe and soft. Bouquet: Lemon, lemon curd, lemon peel. Lemon marmalade. Maybe a hint of stone fruit, passion fruit, pineapple. 

Palate: Lemon, lemon peel, lemon marmalade. Underripe pineapple and passion fruit. Crisp and fresh, but with some underlying richness. Fresh lively citrusy acidity, and a touch of phenolics.
